Flower Care Guide

Expert guidance to keep your luxury arrangements beautiful for as long as possible

Essential Care Tips

Trim Stems Properly

Cut stems at a 45-degree angle with clean, sharp scissors. This increases water absorption surface area and prevents stems from sitting flat against the vase bottom.

Fresh Water Daily

Change water every 1-2 days to prevent bacterial growth. Use lukewarm water and add the provided flower food for optimal nutrition and pH balance.

Avoid Direct Sunlight

Keep arrangements away from direct sunlight, heating vents, and drafts. Cool environments (65-72°F) help flowers last longer and maintain vibrant colors.

Remove Wilted Blooms

Promptly remove any wilting flowers or leaves. They produce ethylene gas which accelerates aging in surrounding blooms and can cause premature wilting.

Clean Vase Thoroughly

Wash vases with soap and water before use. Bacteria from previous arrangements can dramatically shorten the life of fresh flowers.

Show Them Love

Mist petals lightly (except for certain varieties like orchids). Handle gently and enjoy their beauty. Your care and attention make all the difference.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Flowers drooping or wilting

  • Re-cut stems at sharp angle
  • Change to fresh, clean water
  • Remove any leaves below waterline
  • Move to cooler location
  • For hydrangeas: submerge blooms in water for revival

Water turning cloudy or smelly

  • Indicates bacterial growth - change immediately
  • Clean vase thoroughly with soap
  • Trim stems to remove bacteria-covered ends
  • Add flower food to fresh water
  • Ensure no foliage below waterline

Petals turning brown at edges

  • Natural aging process for some varieties
  • May indicate too much direct sunlight
  • Could be from heat exposure
  • Gently remove affected petals
  • Ensure adequate hydration

Flowers not opening
